Data mining is a service that provides you the opportunity to store data and utilize it when you deem appropriate or absolutely need it.
MCP suggests that you store the following pertinent information at a minimum:
- 837
- 835
- Third party payer contractual agreements
Store the most recent 3 years worth of data. By doing such, you have the capability and flexibility to report on any and all items contained within your stored documents.
MCP begins the process by loading all contractual agreements, calculating the expected reimbursement, and comparing such to the actual reimbursement remitted by the respective payer on a daily basis. In addition we maintain, scan, index, and profile all third party payer agreements. Our system accommodates multiple start and end dates for each agreement. MCP attaches the actual agreement to the respective account for easy retrieval for viewing and printing.
