SOURCECORP was founded in 1994. The company’s initial vision was to create a national single source provider of outsourced document management services. This was a new concept in what was a highly fragmented industry with more than 3,500 small private companies. There were no large players dominating the industry.
SOURCECORP felt strongly there was a need in the market for a company to serve as a one-stop shop that could provide a broad array of document management services to customers nationally. The company’s objective was to create an industry leader that could drive significant value to customers, as well as to investors.
When operations began in 1996, SOURCECORP focused on basic document management services, such as electronic imaging, document conversion, data capture and document storage. Since 1996, the company has transformed itself. The initial emphasis on basic document management services has expanded significantly and now encompasses a number of new offerings through which we provide value-added customer solutions.
