Radiology’s mammography Total Archiving Program (mammoTAP™) enables an easy, cost–effective transition to accurate and efficient full–field digital mammography workflow. mammoTAP combines all the proven features of our TAP™ solution for general radiology with special features fine–tuned for demanding mammography applications.
Radiology provides state–of–the–art offsite storage for your hard copy files in our expansive and secure TAP operations center, and all files are carefully indexed with complete DICOM demographics in an electronic database. You can easily submit study requests to the database from any PC through an easy–to–use, ultra–fast TAP Internet portal. We will scan only as needed to keep costs in check, and within minutes we deliver them directly into your PACS over a secure VPN. From there, you can communicate your lossless DICOM images over the hospital network across the enterprise and beyond with full, filmless freedom.
Like our time–tested TAP solution for general radiology applications, the mammoTAP implementation process begins with a thorough assessment of your needs followed by the establishment of a comprehensive conversion plan with a detailed timeline. The program includes hard copy file removal from the imaging site, electronic inventorying, establishment of a secure VPN connection and on–demand 24/7 scanning services. Mammographic studies are converted to MQSA–compliant DICOM images in 4k x 5k x 12–bit resolution using VIDAR CAD PRO scanners, the de facto standard for quality FFDM scanning.
