Managed Care Professionals (MCP) provides RAC Audit Tracking and Process Management activities including, but not limited to:
- RAC audit request tracking utilizing MCP’s RACSource software, a fully integrated end–to–end solution encompassing patient accounting payments and adjustments as well as attaching medical record, 837, 835, and appeal letters to each claim and immediate financial impact calculations
- Comprehensive reporting including canned and custom reporting
- Chart preparation – clerical staff will locate, prepare and number pages for scanning medical record documents into RACSource with respect to deadlines set forth by RAC
- Risk Assessment – we will provide coding and case management staff who will utilize criteria developed by you to assign the appropriate risk level to each RAC request
- Appeal Process – we will provide coding and case management staff experienced in responding to claim denials. Based on the Risk Assessment, the appeals process will be followed to the highest level justified, and deadlines will be met for each level of appeal
- Customized formal reports provided and approved by you
- Process management as well as additional staff as request volume increases
- Regular meetings conducted with your management team as the scope of work changes
